Got up earlier since I was supposed to go out at noon with my AgedCare helper. Got a text that she can't make it because of car trouble. Damn. It seems so nice out today.

My courtyard only gets the morning sun. I don't like to go out there for safety reasons with my walker. I'll sit outside the community room for a while before I collect my dinner.

Yay! I got another hit in the Death List Game. That's #7 out of 20. Today's dead person was a US TV judge(Frank Caprio). I came across him on my YouTube feed last year some time. He had the can, sir. Never saw him on TV.

We're having our yearly fire drill here tomorrow at 11:15am. That means I can't stay in bed as long as usual. grrr...

I'm having my six month blood and urine tests in two weeks. I have a kidney doctor appt the Monday of Preliminary Final week. His office has a great view of the MCG from Epworth Richmond. Maybe I should plan to camp out there for a few days...

At least it was a rather nice day for the fire drill. Last year it was cold and drizzly. Zsa Zsa got scared when the siren went off and hid in the wardrobe. Some of the residents brought their dogs out. We assembled near our mail boxes just two doors down from my unit. Everyone was accounted for who were known to be at home this morning. I had no idea who most of the people were. The day seemed to drag on since I got out of bed so early for me.

My brother topped off the day by texting me what he had for lunch at one of our favourite Vegas restaurants - a buffalo chicken wrap. He usually sends pics of his Vegas meals. At least I can still remember the fun we used to have in Vegas.
