I gave Schell 1 more chance last week and he blew it - I will give Ben a go this week - but if he lets me down  !

In Ben Marsh's defence, he has had a much better form than Daniel Schell in the last month. Ben also had uninterupted pre-season apart from that knee strain he got against Norwood. If I had to bet at who would perform better Schell or Marsh in Crows colors I would bet on Ben. This says a lot as to how bad Schell is.

Having said that both are as soft as butter and therefore not good enough but if I had to choose the better of the 2 I would choose Marsh:eek:

It wasn't that long (2001) that Marsh was our number 2 ruckman playing 18 games during the season. On a few occasions he was among our best players which is a bit scary. I hope that Shaun Rehn has tought him a couple of things.

I tought they said that Marsh would take Perrie's spot up forward and go back if Gardiner or Cox present danger as tall forwards:confused:

Sorry Stiffy...You're right i just read the article again!!! hehehe i read it wrong the first time:D

Considering Marsh is a ruckman it would be interesting to see how many games he actually has played in ruck for the Crows, The last few times he's been in the side has been up forward - which, to be fair , is not really Marsh's position, he should be given the chance to ruck if they've picked him on form(apparently he's done o.k. at Westies in the last few weeks ......but as a ruckman)

A very good point iceman21. With Westies Marsh has been a number 1 ruckman that has plyed majority of the games on ball and resting up forward kicking a couple of goals. I think last time he played in ruck for the Crows was in last years showdown where he was cleaned up by French.
