From 1997-2003 we've played other teams the following number of times.

14 - Adelaide
13 - Brisbane
11 - Carlton, Melbourne
10 - Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, Hawthorn, St Kilda, West Coast, Bulldogs
9 - Kangaroos, Richmond, Sydney
8 - Collingwood

Including 2004....

16 - Adelaide
14 - Brisbane
13 - Melbourne
12 - Carlton, Essendon, Hawthorn, West Coast, Bulldogs
11 - Fremantle, Geelong, St Kilda
10 - Collingwood, Kangaroos, Richmond, Sydney

So if you're sick of Melbourne, there's the reason.

I take it from the low Collingwood number that you aren't including finals.

Which would mean you've actually played Brisbane more than any other team.

These stats don't prove anything. At the end of 2003 I was sick of Collingwood :D

I think the point is that finals games aren't 'fixtured'. The games played are determined by the positions of the teams where as the home and away fixture is determined by Collingwood.

Good point. Here's the number with finals.

15 - Brisbane
14 - Adelaide
12 - Essendon
11 - Carlton, Melbourne, Hawthorn
10 - Fremantle, Geelong, St Kilda, West Coast, Bulldogs, Kangaroos, Collingwood
9 - Richmond, Sydney

Thats pretty astounding, really. Even more so that only 6/15 have been at Footy Park...surely we're Queensland's second club by now. No wonder we're being sent to Cairns.

With a disadvantage in home games like that what's also astounding is is that we have a positive record against Brisbane. 7 wins, 2 draws ans 6 losses. Although if you count the Ansett Cup final as well we are 8-2-6.
