This round reminds me of game a year or two ago.
Round 22, Geelong V Hawthorn, 29/8
It was 1987 , and we need to beat the Hawks to get into the finals , up in Melbourne the Dee's were playing the Dogs at the Western Oval for the same.
I seem to remember us being 40 odd points up before Dermie and Dunstall got going and got the Hawks over the line by less than a goal. It was the start of that horrid period of their domination over us, where it didn't seem to matter how far ahead we were they always came back and beat us.
Times change's and I would hope we give them one of about 20 thrashings that we owe them.Smack them left, right,up and down.Get them down and kick them while they are there. We need a a good confidence boosting win and we are playing a bottom side.In their heart of hearts some Hawks probably hope to be done to get PP , lets not let them down. NO MERCY.
