CARLTON captain Chris Judd hopes a more attacking back line will ultimately help deliver the club its first finals victory in a decade.

New boys Nick Duigan, from Norwood, and former Cat Jeremy Laidler appear certain to play, while the club's No. 1 draft pick Matthew Watson will also be seriously considered. Key defender Michael Jamison will miss through suspension.

What has Judd really excited is the rebounding flair he believes the Blues now have, with the decision to shift a super-slick Chris Yarran to half-back a key plank in this.

POSITIONAL MOVE OF THE YEAR

I expect this will be Chris Yarran off the half-back flank for the Blues.
They lack class in the back half and he is the answer.
Yarran is much fitter and has had a sensational pre-season and will be a star in 2011.

I just hope that we have a good start to the game & keep it up for 4qtrs.

No slow starts this year. It is what has cost us games in the past.

Catch up footy is not too much fun.

I really dont see us winning by 10+, we really need a big 1st quarter because they will just surround the ball with numbers and slug it out abit.

I see a 30 point winning on the cards, but with Richmond dragging us down to their level rather than us playing bad.

Gold Coast game will be better in my opinion.
