been on three trips in 2 years to adel with footy and cricket. Staying at the grand at Glenelg was the best trip ever. Everything is there and a cab into town os only $10

your moron. If you have steped out of your bubble you would no that on a trip some people like to see different sights at night. At Glenelg everything closes at 2 am. (way past your bedtime) so we go out into the city where some venues close at 10am. If you wernt such a weak prick you would have come on our trip with your mates

bendigo was a absolute cracker, good fun to get really messy n few good clubs up there 2...... headed to perth this year tho so hopefully will be a good one

Bendigo was my first footy trip last year and was unbelievable. Staying at the Brian Borou is a treat in itself. It was a combined poor mans trip last year so 60+ up at bendigo. This year richmans is to Gold Coast and Poor mans to bendigo again. Can't wait for both...

For those of you who may be planning a Sydney trip I thought I’d give ya’s the heads-up on a couple of places you may want to eat at. Grew up in Heidelberg. From 1980 to 2005 lived in Sydney. Last 6 of that in the Eastern suburbs.

Yeah Bondi and Coogee are good, however, can be expensive because they’re very touristy areas. Coogee Bay Hotel particularly good on a Sunday afternoon. Forget Kings X. It’s not what it used to be except when there’s about six or eight thousand American sailors in town.

For good cheap Thai, particularly a place called Doy Tao (Doy-Tow), or Indian try Newtown. The boys always talk-up the Greek at Heidelberg but it has nothing on a place called Diethnes (Dee–Ath–In–Eez). Basement Pitt St Sydney. Very old. Very good.

The place I highly recommend is Jasmine (Yaz-Meen) opposite Punchbowl Railway Station. Not far from the city. Very very cheap. Extremely good fresh Lebanese food. Ask for a mixed platter. One mixed platter fed both of us! It will only cost you about ten bucks for a full-on feed.

However, be warned boys. Punchbowl has a very large Muslim community and the family that own and generally the patrons that eat at this place are full-on Muslim (no disrespect). Meaning, no alcohol and be disrespectful in any way and things will, not may, will get very up close and personal very quickly. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Finally, the Sydney women are generally attracted to Melbourne men. Particularly Aussie Rules Footballers. I won’t go into the reasons why. However, try before you buy. Ya may end up with a chick with a dick. I kid you not.

Just a couple of thoughts

Regards

Re: Echuca

Did anyone venture to OPT Nightclub? Personally thought it was one of the worst I've ever been to. Shamrock was the winner up there IMO. Downfall was the lack of things to do up there other than drink and eat junk ;)

had a great under 15s trip to Nimbin. Good bottle-o selling some great goon sacks, easy to break into and plenty of washed up ____s on the side of the road to take advantage of. Overall, a great weekend.

Any truth to the rumour going around that the Hurstbridge boys punched on amongst themselves up at Echuca last weekend??
Before being thrown out of the pub they were staying in by early Saturday??

The Lower Plenty boys had a great time in Belanglo State Forest.
Sadly, Tom "Smacky" Trevan hasn't been sited since he went for a walk with his new mate Ivan.
