i think we all know what is going to happen.

Hardwick will coach out the year occasionally giving young players an opportunity and we'll come into next year and still be shit.

We need to do everything we can to force the clubs hand and make the staff adjustments it needs. I don't think a mass exodus is the right way to do it at this stage but we need to do something.

Ideas?

Just f*** him off. We're the worst team in the comp right now.

The most embarrassing because unlike Fremantle we have no old players that have caused us to drop off. We have had a couple of injuries but nowhere near enough to justify our performance.

Carlton round 1 should have made it pretty clear that we havef ****ed our gameplan.

I imagine that an AFL coach in a heap of pressure will do whatever it takes to save themselves now rather than think of the future when it comes to the selection table. If a team is going to get rid of a coach at the end of the year anyway, why keep them around for the year?

You may as well get a caretaker coach that is from outside the club. They are not under pressure and will probably drop underperforming players for youngsters with much less bias.

Boycott matches, don't buy memberships, that would be more costly for the club than what paying out Hardwick's contract would be.

If crowd numbers drop they will get the message! Until then they are laughing.as much as i hate saying this, i urge all suporters here to think about not going to the game to send a message that change is required now. If rebuild is the way ahead, coaching staff must go.

In Meflbourne for the weekend and for the first time in years didn't take the opportunity to go to the game. Instead went out to dinner with my brother and spouses. All 4 of us are members, but just knew we'd have a better night if we didn't go. Will always buy my membership, but I get the feeling the writings on the wall for this season, and perhaps this cycle (depending on if they play the kids, and if the kids are any chop).

It'll be scary on Friday night for the AFL, Hawthorn's imaginary supporters won't be able to save the game as the masses of Richmond supporters fail to turn up. Sub 40,000 would be a massive kick in the teeth for the AFL.

And they deserve it as much as the club.

Took away our pick 2 in the draft for pick 6 after already diluting the talent considerably. Then did the same the following year by taking away pick 6 and replacing it with pick 14.

We didn't get FA compo for white because we had taken players in free agency yet clubs that had lost players in free agency then picked up players later got compo.

We've been screwed with priority picks over the years because we have been too dumb to tank and the AFL made the rules favor teams that intentionally lost over 2 years.

The club need to demand compensation from the AFL for the 2010 and 2011 drafts now that their wonder clubs have been established. Because instead of having 2 more leaders at the club we got fringe players.

Last night I only went to the game so i could pick up my membership scarf. Crowd was pathetic for a game where we were somehow considered overwhelming favourites, if they don't get the message from that they never will.

Not sure they'll get the message. Peggy and Gale are as pig-headed as they come.

I think the low crowd on Saturday night and the same Friday night will start the media talking about it so that is becomes a big issue.

The week after, Saturday night MCG v Swans and there's a crowd of 20k, then that big issue will turn into an uncontrollable monster.

Because the club only care about off field stability. Maybe if crowd numbers start falling off quickly and a membership drop next year will cause something to happen, doubt it right now though.
They're obsessed with stability and not sacking coaches because of our past.

It's killing the club

The media won't have missed it from this week it will already be a talking point.

I also reckon 27k was pretty generous for a crowd figure. The ground looked now here near a quarter full
Yeah true the AFL and MCG inflated the crowd on the scoreboard. Definitely happened.

All true, but we diminish the argument by giving up a valuable second rounder for a spud like Hampson and two of them for Yarran :(
