i swear my girlfriend & the majority of her friends, were bawling their eyes out when we watched this movie just recently.

I thought the movie was great years ago, still has an impact on me to this day.. especially the end.

As for the Notebook, it was recommended to me by some friends... watched it and well errrrrrr i was very sad at the end. I watched it a second time recently (glutton for punishment ?), but it didn't have the same impact on me as it did when i first saw it.

I enjoyed FG the first time I saw it, but it became "meh" very quickly.

In recent times I've enjoy it in a completely different way thanks to an American friend who does a brilliant impression of Forrest - can't watch it without thinking of him and cracking up.:D

It is one of my all time vomit movies, if I hadn't been on a plane when it was on, I would have got up & walked out.

Turner & Hooch, the only good acting in that movie was the dog. :thumbsu:

Only good movie Hanks has been in, was The Green Mile.

Watched Forrest Gump at the cinemas a couple of years back. Halfway through the movie - my appendix burst and I suddenly regurgitated meals from the previous week. Doctors tried to tell me that these things just happen, but I know there was something within the story that made my innereds explode. True story.
