I like the idea of taking with say five rookie selections, 2 huge ruckman as in 200cm + and two midgits like Betts as a forward or Wirrpanda as a defender and with the other pick take whoever

I agree with you entirely as to why he wont get picked up, but I really think clubs shoot themselves in the foot in this regard. Agin and again, it gets proved that player who dont have your ideal attributes will often succeed because they are forced to work harder. Look at Brett Kirk, Matthew Priddis and Greg Williams.

If he has the skills, pace and attitude, why not give him a chance?

If we were to take him why we would take him with 46. If the club did decide to take him they would be pretty safe in leaving it to the rookie draft or pre season draft if they wanted him on the main list. I don't see why we would want him anyway.
