I really don't want to bag the team after aloss but for the life of me I struggle to understand what the hell they are teaching the forwards down at west lakes. last night when the ball was coming into the forward lines Jenkins decided to battle it out every bloody time man on man,and bugger me he fails to make the mark and bingo the ball goes to ground and is taken away. now the first thing you are taught at junior colts is to make space,stick to your man then double back,lead forward then stop,double back into space.get the kicker to kick it over your head as you goback inti the space. it isn't that hard even tex did it once last night and he previously has been one of the biggest culprits. it was a breath of fresh air to see andy otten when he went forward and show people how a real football brain operates. I suppose you pay the price for recruiting people that are not natural footballers.
