Forward Line Set-Up

What Should It Be?

Obviously Neita at FF is a given when he is available, but with Yze moving into the backline again and Johnson being bred during Pre-Season for a forward role and Davey spending more time up on the wing, there are spaces available.

My Set-Up would be:

HF: Robertson, Miller, Pickett
FF: Davey, Neitz, Jamar/Johnson/White

Only criticism of my own set-up would be too much height but Johnsons better on the ground anyway so he can crumb.

I would have Robertson in a forward pocket actually. The closer to goal he is (now that he is a dead-eye ********), the more dangerous we are. It also means we can push Davey up the ground to utilise his speed. I too would love to see Johnson be given a good go up forward, I think he has the potential. Green should get more of a run there too, especially when he is having a bad day in the midfield. After all, he is a natural forward. Obviously Pickett will roam through the 50 knocking out anything that gets in his way and Bruce will add the icing on the cake.

That's what I've been thinking. However if we had Robertson, Neitz and PJ starting deep we wouldn't have much crumbing ability so ND would have to think of a way to compromise that.
Also agree Green should spend more time up forward along with Bruce when they are having a bad day. We have a lot of players that we can rotate through there and providing we aren't killed by injury and are supplied with adequate delivery IMO we could be the best team in the competition offensively (Obviously this has no point if we don't learn some accountability).

I would set up something like this:

Pickett..Miller...............
.................................
........Robertson............
Davey.........................
...........Neitz....3rd tall..

Neitz starting in the goal square with the 3rd tall in the pocket, davey lurking say 15 out in the other pocket.

With Miller doing his usual CHF role leading up the ground Robbo will have the right HFF as well as straight up the ground to lead into should we win the ball in the middle, with Pickett staying around the 50.

The 3rd tall will most likely be Holland, but perhaps 426 will have a huge pre season comp and get the spot for round 1 ;) Jamar is another option, but Johnson simply cannot mark so I wouldn't play him there.
