Hey guys i just rang up foxtel to complain about the lack of playoffs shown, also had a stab about the amount of bucks games on this year (they promised 11 but only showed 1 game). I truly believe if everyone on with foxtel can do the same we will see some changes the number is 131 999.

It only takes 5 mins so why not?
 
I'm not sure what agreement they have in place. I agree it is poor, but i noticed all the games overthere have been broadcasted by TNT which means it doesnt come here usually. showing regular season games and no playoffs is a tease though.

Yeah i understand that TNT games cant be shown but they are not showing the ESPN games and that just shits me! Why do they promote thier coverage when its that poor? What they did with the Bucks was apauling!

bucks are one of my most hated teams, thank god they only showed one game.

They stepped up the coverage a lot from the conference finals, from memory last year

Yeah, TNT have been broadcasting some of the playoff games during the past few weeks. Not sure what the issue is there, given Fox Sports appears to have the 'rights' to them (or something along those lines).
 
pfft, Bucks games?? Why the hell would you want to watch them play? Other than Michael Redd i definately dont want to waste time watching a mediocre team play, regardless of where a certain average/boring center is from.

Real NBA fans dont care about Bucks games.
 
Umm ever heard of a guy named Bogut? I couldnt care less about Milwaukee (apart from CV) but Id still like to see how Bogey is doing from time to time.

Like i said, I'd rather watch a good side play any day of the week than a team stuck in mediocrity.
 
Foxtel have this annoying habit of showing crap games. Every team in the Atlantic (besides Toronto) had multiple games shown. We even had Boston V New York once. And if they are going to show crap teams (which they will) I would much rather see Bucks games than the other dross they serve up.

But to each their own I guess...

Good point, Foxtel do have a habit of showing terrible games.

Personally i'd always prefer to watch the best/most exiting teams to play, but I suppose Fox do have to cater to other fans.

I remember watching alot of saturday morning Bucks games last season, and even though Bogut is Australian he is one of the more boring post players to watch.
 
How many games do they show a week in a regular season? And how many in playoffs?

including fox sports, they should 4 a week (which is good)

during the playoffs - 1 ( if we are lucky)

What was the last game - spurs v Denver game 3 nearly 2 weeks ago
 
TNT do almost every single playoff game in the states. I think it was only early on that ESPN had any and NBA TV had the Nets v Raps.

I'd say it would have more to do with the arrangements with TNT and ESPN than Foxtel not broadcasting.
 
****ing terrible. Its not right when there is 3-4 games on a week then 1 a week during the most important time of the year

From memory it has been

Denver-Spurs (none of the good players played)
Houston-Utah
Suns-Lakers


thats it for like 3 weeks..
 
Everyone call up and complain as programming complaints are easy as to take (like 3 minutes or so) and they are great for my AHT. If you want to make a complaint/request a program you better make it soon as the programing department guy is leaving soon and we arnt to certain of if they will replace him or not (it not we will most likely not be able to put in complaints)
