Has got to have the ugliest ****ing furniture known to man, Christ knows how much the shit is because you can't understand his commercials.
Anyone got some of these stylish chiffoniers, full length mirrors or brass plated bed heads?
Particularly interested in Carlton supporters opinions on how it looks in their townhouses.

Megallo Megallo Megallo....... Brunswick and Footscray!!

Have not had a better commercial, well not until Frank Walker from Nationallllll Tileeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss came along.

Ken Bruce has gone mad...Ken Bruce has gone mad...

Here it is. Freeze on the last frames and watch the dogs going at it in all their glory. This is the first cut of the ad and was pulled off air by CAD following complaints.

There was a rumour around that the company was being used as a front for smuggling drugs, but that may have just been an urban legend.

I believe that one of Franco's sons did time, or was at least found guilty of some sort of drug offences.

But yes, there's a certain appeal in believing those big no-baroque curls on the furniture are in fact hollow and contain drugs.

I've had the distinct homour of sitting next to Frank Walker at some dodgy SEN function/lunch a few years ago.

Haven't sen an ad of his for years. He speaks Italian and a little Greek amongst his English in the old ads, they were awesome.

But I agree I'd never go near any of the furniture but they were aimed at those who had migrated to Australia from Europe in the 20-30 years before he became big.

megalo, megalo, megalo!

Not a rumour,it's a fact. His son was dealing in more than sofas and bedding.
I think he got locked for a few years.

Most ads for furniture these days are hosted by the owner of the company, most of them come across as absolute wankstains. Would never shop at those places because it seems like the owner would disallow you entry for wearing shorts.

Aren't all Rug businesses just a front for money laundering? Which is why it's completely impossible to ever buy a rug at full price?

Years ago in my uni days the student union or whoever organised one of those treasure hunts where you get points for "sourcing" things like Dermott Brereton's footy boots and The Dog on the Tuckerbox.

One of the punters actaully knocked off the dog and it was reported in the news (dog later returned anonymously IIRC).

The most elusive item on the list was "Indian Rug shop without a 50% off sale". The Dog on the Tucker Box was obviously an easier get :p.

You're not getting that piece of art at your local Harvey Norman.
