We rating Josh's performance in the ruck tonight up against Sandilands. Right.
no against both freo ruckman. it got to the point where fraser was not even going for the ball at the centre bounces.how many times did the freo ruckmen run into space, with fraser tagging along way behind.we all know how big sandilands is , but fraser gets pushed off the ball by players of all sizes.we need warnock.

i can understand some supporters getting upset with someone getting online after a loss and bagging the players .but i personally am not a fan of frasers. i thank him for his endeavors , but think its time totrade him.as for the rest of the team tonight , well we had some poor players, but we had some top efforts.cox and mcarthey were great , and neon? well he was just neon.magic.

Fraser's rucking wasn't so bad after quarter time it was his decision making in where to run. He took too many risks that didn't pay off. Nothing wrong with his intensity tonight IMO, he ran forward way too optimistically despite our midfielders not winning any clearances.

Nope. Im rating his slow and weak efforts around the ground, mostly when opposed to Bradley

Agreed. Getting poleaxed in the ruck by Sandilands wasn't unexpected, but he was disappointing, to say the least, when opposed to Bradley.

And Chris Bryan? Jesus Christ on a Unicycle -- bring back Cameron Wood, already.

Another absolutely shocking night for Fraser again..but he was up against Sandilands, who not many ruckmen come close to (with tap outs).

However, I thought Fraser could of hurt Sandilands around the ground far more then he did. Seems to have lost a lot of that mobility he had when he was younger, which was his strengh. Its a worrying sign which I hope will be rectified with a full preseason.

Changing the topic a bit.....Bryan must be one of the dumbest footballers I've seen for quite a long time. Has no football smarts whatsoever, and some of his decision making is mind boggling.

I think its time to bring Wood back in next week. At least give him some finals experience.

BEST
Fremantle:
Palmer, Schammer, McPharlin, Bradley, Farmer, Browne, Drum
Collingwood: Davis, Pendlebury, Cox, Fraser, Prestigiacomo

Some of you clowns don't have a clue do you.
We lose and you go crazy looking for scapegoats. As usual Josh Fraser is among main culprits. Look at the best players.:eek::eek:
Most of the team played shit, plus Freo flooded making it a shit game.

The other week we dropped 2 players for the rest of the season who have been said "are not fit enough to wear the jumper"
I would have thought that taking pride and giving 100% all of the time in that jumper was what that jumper stands for.
I don't care if you're the worst player on any AFL list, if you are wearing the black & white jumper you do so with 100% intensity 100% of the time.
Josh doesn't do it at all sometimes and it hurts watching it.

Don't let the fact that the papers have to populate the 'bests' with 5-6 players lead you to perceive that Fraser had a good game.

Fraser, and Pendlebury for that matter were poor tonight, as were probably 18 other players.

Bryan has gone back to his old ways in the last few weeks.

If you are making scapegoats out of players this week you are an idiot and should have a look at the fact that it's a team game, and when only perhaps 17 at the absolute most play at an acceptable level it compounds poor individual performances.

For instance, if our midfielders would win the clearances in the first place and not let the likes of Palmer do as the please at around the ball Fraser's rolling the dice would pay off and Kepler and Sandilands would pay him more respect. We were piss poor at winning the ball. O'Bree played an absolute shocker but was our best in and around the ball, that says a lot. Pendlebury was forced to play a more outside role, Swan was poor in that area, Davis was good but I don't want him to get the hardball to handball it to someone like O'Bree.

Fremantle are notoriously bad at reading the ruck and setting up their mids to win clearances, tonight we were worse.

Voted by who?

Presti was far from our best 10, Cox far from the top 3, Davis great Pendles top 2 first half, not so good in the second.
Lets wait for the coaches votes, see what they give him, he wo't get a single vote, lets wait until the B&F, he'll get a vote for suiting up, nothing after that.

All I ask for is INTENSITY if you don't don't what that means look it up!

I am not just Singling out Bryan, Accept for Leon the rest where Pathetic.

I just said I been saying Bryan Has No Footy Brain but Just Bombing the Ball all Season

He does that every game. Teams find a way around it. We didn't.

Usually teams make him at least tap the ball. Today he simply "boxed out" Bryan at every stoppage.

If you think back to Round 1, we did a much better job on him - Wood specifically did really well in that game. Bryan shouldn't play in games where he doesn't have an obvious strength advantage over his opponent.

Bryan I agree with, even when Bryan did 'box him out' he didn't give our midfielders a chance. However Fraser after quarter time did a better job of stopping Sandilands from doing what he wanted, but it still didn't stop the midfielders doing what they wanted.

Only the first line really applies to you sorry. I'm not saying you're making a scapegoat out of him.

One incident that really stuck in my mind happened in a pocket right in front of me. He was in defence and a long ball was coming in where he and his opponent were running back with the flight, Mayne also came across to the contest, but instead of Fraser committing and putting his body on the line, he pulled up, Mayne took the mark and slotted a goal.

It's not like he had to take the mark, but he has to be committed enough to put his body on the line, show a physical presence and put a player under pressure. Time and time again Fraser shows he is not up to this.

That's why people call him Soft

You people just want someone to bag, Sandilands is one of the best ruckman in the game, and was always gonna win the hitouts he had no real influence on the game. Josh actually played well 19 possies 7 marks and 10 hitouts, Bryan was terrible and he was the one that was not making a contest in the ruck. As for Dave the pie man u have no idea saying josh in not a ruckman your an idiot.

"MDC"s comments have nailed it! Go back to Round 1 who did well on Sandilands---WOOD, was able to get taps out..Sandilands was actually having total control of the ball last night in the centre. Bryan served no purpose and was there for the free ride to Perth!!
