To be honest, the source where I got the one from up north from isn't too credible which is why I'd rather not say. But no, it's not Karnezis.

Yer who knows with what's happening there. If it's for Post it's a bit of a meh trade for me unless he does become a midfielder.

Just to back up what many of us had said about Karnezis, it seems our list manager Rob Kerr has made a strong statement that he'll be going nowhere.

Karnezis won the club's rookie of the year gong in 2011 after a spectacular start to his AFL career but had a largely forgettable year in 2012 when he spent most of his time in the reserves.

The 20-year-old is from a tight-knit Melbourne family and is understood to occasionaly suffer from homesickness.

But he is contracted to Brisbane for another year and will not be put on the table as part of the package for Tippett as he is considered a required player for 2013.

"I'm not inclined to speculate too much at the moment on what we'd give up. It's something we'll think about if we come to that point where we have discussions with Adelaide,'' Kerr said.

"There has been some talk that Patty hasn't settled in as well as he would have liked but from our point-of-view, he is a contracted player and it is our intention over the next 12 months to help him settle in because we value him highly both as a footballer and as a person.''

Yep, hence why we are desperate to get Dom Tyson done this year. Imagine the drool-worthy midfield of Cotchin, Deledio, Martin, Tyson, Conca, WHE, Foley, Tuck. Grigg, Knights and anyone we add with 2nd rounders onwards.

I certainly don't. My family is from SA and anti-victorian (in sport) so i have grown up with a soft spot for all the non-victorian teams, even GC, but the way GWS has gone about their dealings since they have arrived on the scene have pushed them close to the top of my most hated list with Essendon and Carlton.
