Toby's defence is that his mother didn't love him enough and that he is just misunderstood and he didn't mean it and people are persecuting him.
Hawkin's defence is that he often plays polo with Gil McLaughlin and these connections should get him off like the French au pair .

And as for Porkins, he'll get off purely because he's a Victorian just like Cochkcin did 2 years ago to play in the Granny.

There are 2 defence alternatives for Tomahawk...

1> The Barry Hall defence...
747026

where the ball was deemed to be in play by direct correlation of being on the same planet at the same time - the AFL has prior history here

2> The Chewbacca defence

747028

Which no valid prosecution case can defeat

I think you've hit it...Johnnie Cochran was the best of the best and could get anyone off anything. They should be engaging with any of Cochran's proteges

No one was badly hurt, everyone's up and about and wanting to see the best players playing finals. Why ruin this on a technicality (in Hawkins case) or social media hysteria (Toby's case)? #FreeToby #FreeTomahawk

Barry Hall and Adam Goodes agree with this

Haha, I missed this one. Nothing wrong with handing someone a slap in the face from time to time. Ye olde captain blood manoeuvre.

Captain Blood was told not to enlist in the army because they wanted him to entertain the crowds for morale. This hit was acceptable back then and merely entertainment for the people, Jack was just doing his job and it worked as we won WW2. Jack hated Collingwood so much that he wouldn't watch black and white TV ,and that's totally fair enough.

Exactly.

That’s why that little red headed Handbagger campaigner should forever be grateful for the GOAT Lethal Leigh took time out of his day, to give him a smack.
