Take Duursma, four straight bids then live trade the second live selection.

If they actually do this on the night I will respect them for it. I reckon they'll make the first two bids for sure. If they bid on Dean on their second pick it will make it impossible for Carlton to match and still take Dovaston.

Wishful thinking I reckon. I seriously doubt WC bid on anyone. I'm expecting they will just call out Duursma and CDT (or whoever). Don't want to hurt their feelings by making it seem like they were plan B or C. Will claim they took "the best 2 kids in the draft".

I'd be surprised if Eagles bid on Annable. Usually a pick trade comes with an 'i won't bid -nudge nudge - wink wink' handshake deal. I'm almost certain this one did.

Last pick in the first round at pick 22! There are a lot of tied players in the next 15 pick draft range and I look forward to the bids. But not extending the first round any longer.

I am not inspired by the Hawks tall key forwards, and the Prelim final was a reminder that they are comparatively average. Can't rely on Gunston much longer. Lewis pick 76, Chol rookie pick and traded for F2, Dear pick 56, and Ramsden midseason pick. I believe it is about time Hawks invested top 25 draft capital on a KPF. so best available KPF at this point -
