It was me, I sent the Journo at the west a tweet claiming I invented it and that was all the evidence they needed

It's odd because Joffa claims to have stolen the chant off of us 6 years ago when we beat the pies in round 22, 2008. I'm sure we were doing it before that...

The guys a tad senile if he thinks he invented the Freeeoooo chant! I used to let a few exasperated Freeeeooohhh"s way before he did, plus anyone knows it started down at the city end when we were rubbing it into the Budgies!

And that's another thing, he wasn't critical enough about the Budgies, or Notacluey! Must've been a token dressed up, I just like WA footy type!

Mind you, Inside Cover wasn't bad when Morfesse was the editor of it! A few Freo oriented stories got a guensey.

The guy claims to have been coming to Freo games since day one and that he sits in the 3 tier stand, so why can't he remember the chant that used to emanate from the 3 tier stand more than a decade ago that originally signalled a victory? And what about the din we made in 2003 after the elimination final?

Perhaps it's inside cover trolling Freo supporters for derby week.

Yeah wasn't the biggest fan of that but unless we recruit Tom Bell (lol) or something I don't think there's much to worry about there.

I think I remember shibz_1989 saying they were banned after a derby where the eagles members complained to security.

It was pretty awesome the bell getting busted out on GF day when Bell brought out the cup.

I don't miss it though. Or the drums really. And the Freo chant is waaaaayyyyyyy older than 5 years. I remember doing it before I moved to Melbourne so either I'm insane & imagining things from the good old Perth days, or this person is insane and attention seeking.
