Hopefully it will pan out like this......

* Teague & Morrel for Gimp Mask (Mckernan - done deal)

* Stevens goes into PS Draft & on his way to Carlton ($'s are right). Therefore we hold onto PICK 2

* We pick up Brett Johnston for a 4th round pick & dont go for Harford.

* Get David Clarke for any one of 20 duds we could recycle to the Cats

* Trade our way into another 3rd round pick or pick & player by offering someone like Beaumont or Livingston.

Carlton has done well in its 1 deal, I just hope we arent paying too much for Corey over the next 2 years, we may need some of that cash for Stevens.

midfield of Kouta, Stevens, Tenace / or Sylvia, Campo, hulme, would go a lot better than what we had to endure this year.

If the bloke has come out and said he doesn’t want to play with the blues, why should we pick him up? So we can have another corza who was hanging to play somewhere else all year long?

Has been reported that the Blues are paying 65% of McKernan's contract for the next 2 seasons. Had a contract guaranteeing him $700K for the next 2 years and Carlton are supposedly paying $450K (over 2 years) and North the balance.

Can't be sure if the contract value is accurate ($350K per year seems a bit rich) - but Carlton are definitely paying the majority of the wages bill - which is why you got Teague as well as Morrell.

Not sure about those figures. I heard Corey took a reduced contract, and Carlton is paying the majority of the reduced contract. So it could be less.

If Stevens goes into the PSD I would expect Macca to annouce his retirement about 5 minutes later, so I doubt cash will be an issue.

Stevens have never said he doesn't want to play for us. He has only said he doesn't want to be TRADED to us.
