Brownlow Medallist
Went down to have a look at the boys today, just a short skills session before they went in with Danners, no doubt for a team meeting of some sort.
Just a few observations -
- Onus seemed to be on Miller leading out from CHF, looks a good chance to play
- Brown trained very well and I would be very suprised if he didnt play
- Ward looked a bit proppy and missed a large deal of the session
- P.Johnson, Pickett, Gianfagna walked the boundary, PJ and G with their arms in slings.
- Davey was doing short sprints along the boundary, seems to be recovering pretty well, may be back sooner than we thought.
- Sam Newman did some work with Neaves and 426.
- Players that werent training (well i didnt see them) - TJ, Dunn, Newton, Bizzell, Ferguson (though i later saw him in the gym)
- Moloney didnt look too bad considering some of the news in the press but didnt look up to match fitness.
- McLean looking as sharp as ever, standing out even in the drills, very loud.
Thats about it, from what i saw, possibly Miller for Ward being the only late change, TJ was there but didnt train, i dont think much should be read into that though, may just have been resting.
