...but, but.... but Juddy!

The reason why Richmond can beat West Coast:

Terry Wallace.

He coached the Bulldogs to a win over the invincible Bombers of 2000 - the greatest team in history. He coached the same Richmond side you see now to a win over premiership favourites Adelaide.

Now the odds are against us again and we will bite ;)

LOL if you keep telling yourself that and tap your shoes together 3 times, then it may just happen :thumbsu:

Give me a reason for thinking you have any chance of beating us next week :D

ummm, about the only thing I can think of is that WC dont generally play their best on the MCG during home and aways, was it last year that collingwood upset them there...the other is I heard the federal government are launching a massive crack down on "ice"...this could send a few of your players right off:p

Right now we have nothing to lose . And that fact alone considered may just release the shackles of self doubt that have haunted us for the first four rounds

... "IF" we kicked straight against the dogs last week in the third quarter we may have jagged a win . With the exception of the Collingwood game we have been more than competetive .

There is a big difference between throwing everthing but the kitchen bench at sides and still coming up 12 - 15 goals short ... as opposed to making blunder after blunder on a regular basis but still being in the hunt or a winning position against rated oppositon and only going down by three or four .

The last three non finals performances that i can remember the Eagles playing at the "G" were thier loss to Collingwood a couple of years ago . Our agonising 2 point loss to them last year and the hawks ran them to a kick as well . The year the filth beat them i think they finished pretty close to the bottom , we where very mediocre last year as were the hawks .

The point of this rant is i think it is trendy at the minute to sit here and laugh at how shit we are ... its an in-built self-defence mechanism that protects us from years of having our hearts and guts ripped out ... fair enough ... but on face value , our form is not that bad , way better than the same time last year . The Eagles dont go that well here during the regular season . They have been "up" ever since the drug hysteria erupted and sooner or later they are going to have to have a flat one or two .

You never know , could be this week . If we bring our "A" game and things finally click and we string a couple of decent quarters together , which we have been unable to do all year , then an upset is not out of the question . Rainesy and Tuck turned the corner last week . If they get Richo up the ground and out of sarges way . Get the match ups right down back , stick Kerr in a straight jacket . it`s not beyond the realms of possibility

....IMHO .... for what its worth

Forget about Round 22 last year when we beat your lot by 88 points at the G? ;)

listen up, facts are the sun will rise some time, as Idy said we've been competitive which means we're a bit closer to winning form than most people would believe, 30 scoring shots against the bullies was a big improvement on last couple of rounds where we starved our forwards...Im still looking forward to it...like to see a couple of changes..and watch out for the FF merry go around between Richo, Sarge and Polak...whoever has the worst defender takes the square....started to work last week:thumbsu:

I honestly DO believe it Bojangles, I too have felt slight improvement in our games this season but my past 20+ years of following our club makes me just dont believe it.

Imagine knocking off The Coasters, then Geelong, Port & Adelaide, the whole footy world would stand up and take notice.

But this is Richmond ........... 0-8 more likely. :o

We will get killed.

I have just had the Eagle loving in-laws over, and just when I think I'm rid of them and they're back in WA, the Junkies will give us a nice ol' hiding just to remind me that even when they're not here, they can still make my life tough.

You're the better team atm.
I just love watching the Tiger Cubs having a real dig.

That's all I ask.

Some funny responses, well done guys, at least people can have a laugh and not take it so seriously.

Good luck on the weekend :thumbsu:

Bad luck to your mob :p
