Just read the best news for the whole carnival, young Brenton Primmer is making slow but steady progress. He must be a real fighter and if any one out there knows his familly please pass on all of our best wishes and keep up the good work.

Good to see he must have really been ill. I didn't know he was that bad i was on the horse he rode that day as well.

I've been home sick for the last 2 days (more runs than bradman ;))
so i was watching TVN yesterday before race 4, his dad was on being interviewed. His dad said he got the best win so far when he spoke for the first time.
minutes later their horse won, looks very good.
I hope he does get better, doubt he'll ever ride again, but as long as he comes through this thats all we can ask for.
BTW yesterday was 2 months to the day and i know a few jockeys all are thinking of him and are deeply shocked about his fall still.

hey lads, i also seen the interview with mark yesterday and this is great news. being really good mate's with brenton,we rode ponie's together when we were younger, i am eager to go see him but that is not possible at the moment with only family allowed to visit. i will send him a card this week sometime i reckon.

i found out that last week he was making progress by waving to his mum and dad so he has been showing positive signs. i hope he continues to get better and keep our thoughts and prayers with mark, rose, billy, amanda and jenna.

Too right, I agree with all thats been said so far. Hopefully he continues to progress well.

It was a nice way to start the morning yesterday reading the story in the paper about him speaking and his fathers winner at Hamilton. Good news.
