Loved the look of Frost from first sighting, he has a 'red hot go' as they say, really hard as nails and loves smash, crash footy; has very good closing speed in the contest and I have always felt he just needs experience and confidence till it started coming good for him. Had a tendency to take the game on a little too much, hang on to it a little too long, run into trouble and turn it over but, to me that can be sorted out with experience.

I now understand why Keeffe can't get a game. Probably the best job I have seen any Pies defender do on Franklin. Would have kept him to one if the scumps hadn't gifted him one.

Best on ground under the circumstances, brilliant, in his fourth game to stop the fat billionaire.

BRILLIANT.:D

I didn't know Demetriou was playing...

Oh, you meant the other guy...?

$10 million, eh?

:D

Frosty reminds me of backmen of the '60's - tough, hard and courageous but he has the added bonus of far more athletecism than those plodders of yesteryear.

As others have said he is PHYSICAL, he is not content to halve the contest on his opponent - he wants to dominate him, not just on the stat sheet but physically and mentally.

As per earlier thread franklin is a git of the highest order and was a pleasure to see that self important ****** get his deserts again. So sick of these modern day LOOOKKK AT MY TATS AND RAD BEARD look. Human failures.

obviously not a fan of Dane Swan eh...

He's looked good from his first game. In response to those who saw this thread as an opportunity to rubbish Keeffe, I think there's room enough in the backline for both of them.
People have short memories - I remember a time when our backline was decimated with multiple injuries and Keefe led it and led it with distinction.

I think we can live with three tall defenders, just a matter of one missing out every now and then when matchups don't call for all of them.

Obviously won't have to worry about that for a few weeks now unfortunately because of Brown's shoulder injury.

A Frost/Keefe back line sounds great to me. Brown as backup, with Maxy, Money bags, Possum, Harry and eventually the Seed.
Just writing it make me firm.

Yep Frosty was great but I'd also like to highlight how good the other defenders were also.
Maxy rocked, Tooves blanketed and tackled like a madman, Browny was solid and its sad to see him miss more games through injury. Young was quite positive, Langdon looks like a 10 year player and Sinkers was fantastic. He ran he tackled and he held marks running back into packs. Well done little bloke, Sinkers looked like a right footed Johnno.

Rising star nomination
Dont think hes eligible which stinks :/

Frosty was great! I thought he was good against Freo last week, dont think he had any direct goals scored against him that game. But tonight he was sensational, offered rebound(not practically rebound 50's, but rebounds through the centre of the ground, if that makes sense) and his disposal was great and quite damaging i thought.

Amazing how many people jumped on the frost hate bandwagon after that one poor handball against tigers in Wangaratta, in a practice match, seriously a practice match! Feels good to not have buddy dominate us, and feels great knowing Frost gave him a Bath!

Surprised me how well he went tonight and performed his role very well as he was never beaten one on one.

He does still make me nervous when he has the ball in hand, but for an inexperienced rookie I am quite impressed.
