Not ahead of them yet since 1st years. But think Bolton, Seedsman + Young will go past the likes of Blair/Macaffer/Goldsack come years 2 or 3 to eventually go on and become regulars.

Macaffer is severely underrated on these forums. He is the best in our team at applying pressure inside the forward 50.and gives us an extra dimension as a medium forward. What Malthouse was doing playing him off half back this season is beyond me.

My guess is next season he'll be in the forward line almost constantly. I reckon his fitness and lack of game time meant Mick might have thought that he would play a better role down back. He can be a defensive forward (a lot better than maxwell), and so i think MM might have just experimented.

Best 22 this year. I can agree with you on that. Best 22 in 3/4 years time? I'm not so certain. Chance, but not guarantee.

Caff + Goldy same.

But certainly I maintain that any of the 3 still can still go on to have long careers at Collingwood and if not at other clubs.

Very interested to see how the three go in 2012.
