Your board are talking a top 5 pick, I just don't see that happening personally. He's a good player but hardly the type of player you sell the farm for. Rumours of 700+k however are ridiculous.

I also find that money offer hard to believe and I also think if it's a 5 year deal at anything less than that money he would simply sign a deal with the Bulldogs for an amount close to that anyway.

400k isn't a fair offer for a guy of his caliber and I don't believe a norm smith medallist and a guy who has the ability to be a multi all australian will get that offer from the Bulldogs.

Crameri is currently on something like that with the same term and JJ is a far better footballer in a time where guys are getting more cash.

I actually don't mind if he really want to go to bulldog, as for draft pick and trade you can't predict his value until 2017 season . fyfe might choose to stay with freo if on field performance with the team improve. What make you think jj form won't drop a little in 2017 like b.hill last season

I don't think Adams has done anything yet at AFL level to justify any value before he shows he can take the field again.

Johannisen averages half a season of games a year but he has a couple of seasons of form under his belt, if he was coming back from a potentially career injury then he would hold a value.

If Fyfe hadn't been suspended for a month he would have two brownlow medals.

As much as I rate Adams, until he has shown he is over that foot - he is too much risk to be worth anything like the draft pick he was taken at.

My point was that Adams is potential at this stage and coming back from a potentially career ending injury. If he had done what Johannisen had done then there would be some value to Adams even with this injury.

A pick in the thirties for Adams and a dodgy diagnosis would be too much of a risk in my opinion.

Well hawthorn will need at least two season to get back to the top . clarkson can change game plan but chemistry between players need few years to build. I am hoping fyfe to stay but money do talk ( buddy, abblett).

Yep this is the basis of the rumor, apparently his contract is up for renewal and Doggies have lowballed him, enter Freo with a 3 mill + offer over 5 years etc etc

The Brownlow doesn't make Fyfe a better player any more than it makes Priddis a better player. Fyfe makes the Brownlow a better medal though I don't see how winning a Norm Smith equates to a top 5 pick, unless JJ has been BOG all year to show consistency in that rating.
