A few weeks before the Ansett cup started an Essendon supporter told me that the Essendon VFL side would beat any full strength AFL side. The best part was that he was serious. He believed that the depth was that good that they would beat anyone. I guess the depth must not be as good as we were led to believe. The premiership hangover is in full swing. How much would the roos have beaten the bombers by had those two sides played last night? About 8-12 goals sounds good.
