So I've twisted a few things about this, mainly traditional roles with a few extra ones added in so please read the OP carefully.
Basic Rules:
At the beginning of the game each player is given a 'role' at random and in secret (via PM) by the moderator.
The aim of the Villagers is to identify and kill all of the Mafia and the Werewolves before the evil factions can kill enough villagers so that (# of e.g. Werewolves = # of Villagers). Only one faction can win.
How are players killed?
Each 'turn' of the game will last approximately 24 hours and also represents one 'day' of game time, thus a game will go on for several days before it is concluded. There are two 'phases' to every turn of the game;
Night Phase (8:00pm – 8:00am):When evil factions secretly decide among themselves, via PM communication, which Villager (one per night) that they shall kill and then inform the moderator via PM. Others with a Night action also enter their actions now via PM to the Mods. Decisions for the night phase are to be in no later than 8am.
Day Phase (8:00am – 8:00pm):After the results of Night actions have been announced, everybody, Villagers, Mafia, and Werewolves discusses and ultimately votes publicly in the game-thread upon which player (one per day) that they shall lynch and kill. Votes for the day phase are to be in no later than 8pm.
Obviously during the day the Villagers will want the group to vote for and lynch an evil player, whilst the evil players themselves will want not to be lynched; herein lies the fundamental strategy of the game:
Can the villagers identify the evildoers whilst at the same time convincing the rest of the group that they're not evil? And can the evildoers convince the group that they're not evil at all and thus avoid being lynched?
Werewolf Etiquette:
There are two main rules which everyone must follow in order for the game to run successfully;
DEAD PLAYERS MUST LEAVE THE GAME
If you are killed at any point during the game then you are no longer allowed to participate although I will allow a farewell post, but that post cannot impact the remainder of the game.
THERE MUST BE NO PRIVATE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS EXCEPT WITHIN THE GROUPS LISTED BELOW
Except for the below-mentioned groups sending PMs between themselves, other forms of private communication concerning the game are not allowed.
Anyone caught sending screen captures of BigFooty of any kind in this thread will be mod-killed instantly with no warning.
Anyone caught quoting PMs from the mods will be mod-killed without warning.
For this game we will not be using the Reason for Lynching rule.
Voting:
During the Day Phase players must vote for whom to lynch, your vote must be formatted in bold like this: Player Name.
Upon the voting deadline (end of day-phase) the votes will be tallied by the moderator and whoever has received the most will be lynched and be out of the game: remember, once killed you cannot take further part; do not reveal your roles to anyone until the game has been concluded.
Any ties in voting will result in a coin toss.
EVIL
The Mafia - 4
(Godfather)- chooses who the Mafia will seer each night. cannot be killed at night
(Cook)- selects one player every night to cook a delicious tasty treat. These tasty treats will do all sorts of crazy things. Can give it to fellow mafia member.
(Goon) – assists with nightly kills
(Framer) – Selects a target to frame who if seered will seer as Mafia.
Win condition: Eliminate all other factions, serial killer, arsonist, vig, seer and doctor and equal or outnumber the village.
The werewolves - 4
Alpha Werewolf - chooses who the werewolves will seer each night. Cannot be killed at night.
Beta Wolf - Will become the alpha IF the alpha is lynched.
(Wolf) - assists with nightly kill
(cub)- if killed the werewolves get two kills that night instead of one.
Win condition: Eliminate all other factions, serial killer, arsonist, vig, seer and doctor and equal or outnumber the village.
OTHER
(vampire) - bites one person each night - he may choose to recruit them or kill them, whichever he chooses, but he cannot do the same thing two consecutive nights. If the head vampire dies, so do all the converted vampires. Can recruit up to three people. Cannot be killed at night.
Win condition: Eliminate all other factions, serial killer, arsonist, vig, seer and doctor and equal or outnumber the village.
(serial killer) - A ruthless killer who submits a kill every night. Every third night they get a seer. no faction can win while the serial killer is alive. Must make final four. Cannot be killed at night.
Win Condition: Make it to final FIVE.
(arsonist) - has the option to either douse a player in fuel or ignite his match. The player being doused WILL NOT be made aware they are doused. If the latter all players formerly doused will be set alight and killed. This action will kill even those immune at night. Cannot be killed at night.
Win Condition: Make it to final FIVE. (if serial killer and arsonist both make it to final FIVE, they will both win)
GOOD
(the village)
(Flogs) - three regular villagers who know each other are innocent and share a pm. Each night that no role claim is made during the day, they will be given a vague clue.
The clue cannot be revealed to the thread - the findings can.
(seer) - can choose one person per night to discover their role. 50% chance of correctly seering an Alpha/Godfather/Vampire/Arsonist or Serial Killer.
(Busybody) – can spy on any opposition PM up to three times by stating in the PM that night and will receive the most recent five posts next morning. Will not be told player names and any spam (such as "ead sneak") will be left out.
(vigilante ) - kills one person per night regardless of what the village thinks.
(revenge Killer) – Will kill one person in retaliation – either the person who kills them OR one of the people who voted for them to be lynched – their final act will be one of retribution.
(Doctor) offers protection from all night moves to one player per night. Cannot pick the same one twice in a row.
(shapeshifter) chooses any player on night one and should that player die, they assume their role. Seers as villager until assuming that role. This will be mentioned in the thread.
(escort) distracts one player each night from performing their night moves. They cannot pick the same person twice in a row.
(Villagers) regular villagers with no special powers.
WILDCARD - Can be good or evil - if good, will only be any role mentioned above or a goon or wolf if evil.
Amulet – this protects the holder from all night moves and the following daily lynch – can only be passed around a faction once before needing to be moved on. If the amulet holder is lynched, the player in second place will be lynched. If the amulet does not get passed on during the night, it will be assigned to a random villager. The amulet will be destroyed once six players remain in the game.
