His 2013 starting team wasn't particularly great either, he got lucky with Cloke's 190+ game however also innovatively traded him out at his high point which was very clever. The blokes who won it back when we were down at twenty trades and before the season where we had like 3 rookies on each line thanks to Gold Coast had to get their teams 100% correct before the season, rookies and all.Lets be honest all the research in the world doesn't mean jack if you dont have a bit of luck.

More trades and many more rookies (during GC/GWS first few years) made it much more easier even with the subs to start with a crappier team.Thats true, but they didn't have to worry about the sub.
I think he started with Blicavs as R2 that year. His 2013 starting team wasn't particularly great either, he got lucky with Cloke's 190+ game however also innovatively traded him out at his high point which was very clever. If you have him, you stick with him... If you don't, like me, you don't trade him in either....
I'm comfortable with my call not to have him and can understand why you would trade him out if you did. But if it was me, I'd hold. Same as I'm holding Spud 1 (Jelwood) and spud 2 (Aswallow).
They killed me![]()
i could have taken Ablett's score but went with Jelwood...Yep. Had the chance to take Fyfe as C as well and left it with Jelwood because he's a "Big game player"...
Cost me about 10k spots!

I ended up going with Ablett's score instead of risking Selwood. Was it you that told me to take risks???i could have taken Ablett's score but went with Jelwood...![]()

Be carful Gibsons scores aren't effected when Birchell comes back. I personally would wait a week. What happens if GAJ scores 150 vs the saints, which is more than possible.Gaz, Ibbotson out
Lewis Gibson in
Unfortunately Gaz needs a few weeks for his shoulder to heal. He might keep playing all season and average 110-120. But at his price it ain't good enough. Can get Lewis in 150k cheaper to average the same and I can fix up my backline.
Could be a winning move by jumping off before the rest of the 45% does. Got a bit of the Bruyn Manoeuvre about it.
2 prems in, Hawks won't lose all year going by yesterday's game.

My thoughts exactly. Why burn a trade? He may lose value but what does it matter if you aren't going to trade him out? I picked him for a reason, and 120 on a bad day, I'll take that.Surely if you started with him, you keep him. Why? Because inevitably, he WILL start pumping out 150's and you WILL want him back.
When he does:
1) you'll need to burn another trade to get him back
2) you'll get burnt scoring wise by not having him and a high percentage of others will
3) you may need to forego an opportunity to do an upgrade/corrective trade or trade in a rookie on the bubble because you need to use a trade to get GAJ back.
A Swallow will destroy the Lions at Etihad after the showing they put up in S.A last week.
Stick with him.![]()

But he got 50 points from 2 goals didn't he!?!?Nick @nicko_1984
@championdata how is it possible Gary Ablett got 119 supercoach points from a pretty ordinary performance??

@nicko_1984 16 contested possessions, 75% kicking efficiency, two goals and three score assists is a pretty handy ordinary performance.
I don't have twitter but if you do tweet the guy back. But he got 50 points from 2 goals didn't he!?!?

Has anyone asked about ruck scores?Nick @nicko_1984

I like your thinking... How about getting Birchall in this week or is he a chance to get subbed off? I love Birchall best SC defender for the last 7-10 yearsBe carful Gibsons scores aren't effected when Birchell comes back. I personally would wait a week. Hmm id wait and see. Hard to pick the defenders this year. Coming of an injury I'd wait. How about Brodie Smith?I like your thinking... How about getting Birchall in this week or is he a chance to get subbed off? I love Birchall best SC defender for the last 7-10 years
