hahaha except for the fact that 15 other teams have good youngsters as well. I hope that post was a joke but its ridiculous either way. The player I think has a massive future at Geelong is Stokes. He's just so polished with the footy. I think with him and Joel Selwood coming through the Geelong midfield looks set for a long time (and then people forget that Bartel, Chapman, Ablett are hardly in the 'old' bracket).

Gamble is a better forward option than Hawkins at the minute. But Hawkins does attract the best defender. Both need to work on their kicking

Taylor very good in his debut. Although playing in a team like this one helps

You are eligible in the first two years of your draft, though I think there is a game limit for guys in their first year.

It doesn't matter how old you are, not at all. Just depends on your draft.

The winner must be under the age of 21 at January 1 of that year, must not have played more than 10 games to the start of that season and must not have been suspended by the AFL or State League tribunals during the season (as with the Brownlow Medal, players found guilty of certain offences and fined or reprimanded by the Tribunal remain eligible to win the award).

He turned 21 in June last year so he is not eligible.

it was the first time l saw harry play he;s looks good,gamble looks good as well it will get better as the season goes on with he's goal kicking and will get more ball,good game for blake with 2 goals

I have to say - Taylor was fantastic. For a first gamer his poise and calmness was something that really stood out for mine. He was given a chance and isn't likely to drop out any time soon. The saying about giving a sucker an even break springs to mind.

Gamble - great game. Always knew the kid had a special something and was given a chance to shine today. Going to be very hard to shift outta the 22 for a couple of weeks now.

Blake - great game. One of the best he has played so far. Excellent work in the ruck and his tap work early (when the game was there to be won) was excellent. Gave us first use early and slammed it down the midfield's throats.

I was staggered really that taylor was so calm and assured. COuld say that playing in this team helps but there were a couple of moments where showed poise and confdience that was a joy to watch.

Guys, was at the game today, liked the look of Gamble or 'Vegas'. Times he's leads from the square to perfection.

Taylor is solid and honest. Shame the ball didn't get down to him much as your midfield was outstanding.

Taylor was great today. Was very impressed by his game. Was dependable when needed, agressive when the situation arose. Seemed like a natural fit in this team and showed great poise. Can see him holding his spot and playing a key role in the future.

Mooney + Gamble isn't enough
Mooney + Hawkins + Gamble is good.

Of course there's our flying V of half-forwards, but these 2 guys can play full-forward.
