Be interesting his season.Must say the way it played out at the suns last 2 seasons was a bit dour coming from a club captain and the money he was on.Not playing away or when fit to play.

Boomer Harvey was still serviceable at the same age and I´d say no disrespect to Harvey but Ablett has got him covered for talent and standing in the game. Ablett will deliver 2 blinding seasons. Will be so worth the trouble it´s not funny.

The midfield mix, particularly with Scott Selwood's grunt work missing, may be a bit of a concern.

He does like the one two handpass but I don't like that example.

Everyone was awful that day for Geelong and he tried to provide a lot of run and seemingly the only one that tried to break the game open that day.

Fair enough - but I would have thought most neutral supporters would hope his injuries hold off for a bit so he can show his best for a while longer. Whether it helps us improve as a team is another question...

Show me a player who gets 35+ regularly and isn't a stats peddler.

You have to be.

The thing about Ablett is that he is an elite kick, unlike other up-and-under kicking stat peddlers, and while 10-15 may be stats peddling, he still has 20+ damaging elite disposals.

It’s part of competitive sport mate. Much the same way in the 08 Grand Final when Mooney told Hodge he would ‘****ing smash his ribs and kill him’.
