This was in the paper yesterday about a Crows Life Member who was Head Trainer for many years..

Passed away suddenly

Aged 62 years

Extremely sad news for those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him.
 
RIP Gary. I first met him back when he was a trainer with West Torrens. He was a real character of the game & club who's smile, wit and dedication will be sadly missed.

Yes, KE, he was involved with Norwood after he left the Crows.

Is this the bloke who had a beard, was a trainer, and was the guy that Tony McGuinness had a swing at when he got in the way?

The name rings a bell for me, but his age maybe makes him to be too old to be the bloke that I'm thinking of?

Yes that's him.
He made front page of the Sunday Mail when Tony McGuiness collided with him.
A great guy, will be sadly missed.

Theres also another one with a darker beard who works for the AFC and drives the mini ambulance unsure of his name though.
