Oh please god, please god let young gary junior be ok...your his father surely you can do something. Seriously this better be a load of bull**** or myself and the entire geelong community shall cry, i would think its made up, but the cats havent really shut the door on it. Oh god please let Gablett be ok.

It's ok for my dream team and supercoach team, I don't have him and all the others in my league do. So really, it's good for my team.
It is great for my team that the soft shit palmer is having a rest due to "soreness", little bitch got tackled a few times, must be pretty sore...soft freo bitches...:(:(:(:(:(

I hope your dream team gets hacked and destroyed permanently and for some reason you can never create a dream team side again you immoral, unethical prick:)

Funny story. I did that to a kid at school once so I could beat him one week.. Made some guy from Sydney captain who hadn't played and I won by a few hundred points.

Karma got to me however - I finished on top of the ladder in my competition but then lost both finals :(

Egans is a bone in the foot.

I hope to hell this isn't true; in fact I have a feeling it's not. But the club have pretty bad form about this sort of thing. They are very cagey with what they let out; and are not adverse to telling the odd porky.

Egan's injury was originally an ankle, and not too serious (and that was coming from the club after he had had scans).

Ottens, also a rolled ankle according to the club in the first few weeks (when they obviously knew different). It took a number of weeks before it was admitted it was something else.

It's really hard to trust their 'official word' on this one.

......WOLF!

i understand what you're saying but much like the 3rd time in the wolft story, i think geelong are being honest this time. from the vision we saw, i think it was pretty obvious gazza couldn't have hurt anything other than his ankle.

maybe we could invite the freo mod to ban him
parasite why not flush your head in the toilet

A bit harsh on the boy? He's a kid in his first season and he's their best player:D:D

It's a bit scary, of say their four best players for the season, one retired last week, two are in their first year, and one (no doubt) wishes he was somewhere else.

My heart bleeds. No, really, it does. :)

you just never know with ankle injury's look at EGAN'S injury out for season, and OTTO'S missed 10 plus weeks,l don't think the club will rush him back there's a bigger picture to look at

Egan's injury was originally an ankle, and not too serious (and that was coming from the club after he had had scans).

Wasn't the 'ankle injury' just speculation on the night of the game?
As soon as all the scans and x-rays were done, the public/media was informed that Egan had broken (or fractured?) his navicular bone.
See, two days after it happened. The club didn't try and fabricate it at all.

However with Ottens, I agree. Though no one really wanted to give an answer on questions about his injury, with Gaz everyone seems well informed.

Also there were complications on recovery, which is why he went from training lightly to putting on the moon boot. If things had gone the way the club had hoped, he would've been back much earlier than he was.

I have no doubt Ottens could have come back earlier, but to what end? Particularly after we won the first say four or five games, there was no real advantage to bringing Ottens back until you wanted him back. Better to see who else you've got out there and what they can do against a fair range of ruckmen, as well as how Blake would go for an extended period as a number 1 ruckman. Personally I think the whole thing was terrific for Blake and the others - for Blake it was probably worth two seasons as a second line ruckman.

Our experiences rushing ruckmen back early in the past have not been all that positive.

Watch this space, more to come.
SEN:
Liam Pickering Gazza's manager said he was so surprised about all the talk around the injury and bookies suspending betting on the browmlow that he spoke to junior last night.

Gaz said things were going as well as expected and he hoped to be right for the Hawthorn game or failing that the week after.
So unless Gaz and Liam are onvolved in the coverup as well it seems all is OK and hopefully it is a two week max injury.

i can just tell you that i was playing football a few weeks ago and i tore ligaments and tendons in my ankle- the exact same injury as ablett and it was a 6 week injury.

showed gary watching the VFL boys from up the race and when he realised the cameras were on him he threw away his crutches and pretended to run, quite funny so he obviously seems to be in good spirits which would be unlikely if he was out for the season!!
get well gaz as ur a true champion and hope to see u back on friday night!!!!
