Nick Costello to either retire or play full time in the seconds at bell post due to not wanting to be centre of attention with 3 superstar players leaving
Nick might find BPH is not like Anakie. They don't seem to stack their reserves with guys who should be playing seniors.

Has the Anakie or East coach been announced yet? PeeWee you seem to have sources everywhere....Any word?
As far as I knew the anakie coach was being announced Monday night, but I am yet to hear anything. Most likely will turn out to be Grace and Parsons taking on the role from all reports.
I hear East are only in the infancy stages of the process, and their coach won't be announced prior to their players reporting back for pre season training on November 16th. Leaving it very late.

Infancy stages they have been doing interviews for 2months!
And obviously still can't find the right candidate, meaning they will still be interviewing. I believe players have been told they will not have a coach when they return for pre season.

Heard from a mate that the Anakie Coaching process was a joke it was advertised on Afl Vic on October 22nd they had applicants apply 3 days later only to get told that the coaches had already been announced.

Lachie Wright from North Geelong to join the trio from BPH at Grovedale next year.
Would think It would be.Some good young talent to work with.Some 20 to 25year olds with talent that need a fresh approach nothing against Rick.Hopefully Rick stays on .Maybe even Challis back from Darley.?and a new coach with 3 or 4 handy signings.Sure to be an improvement next year.

Its been a good record bph have had for a while with all these players rejecting rival offers. Im sure they will hold thier own. Especially witney. Holzfiend would be a handy get. Teams will use this surely as some hope to knock them off thier perch.
East geelong taking very long for a coach, would want to mae sure it's the right appointment, havnt heard any names apart from on here throwing challis around.
Imverliegh been quiet this off season thus far, any knowledge on them?
I have heard that Challis may be close to signing at the Hill

They interviewed 20 candidates over 6 weeks and finished this process on Sunday. Unfortunately most were either asking for too much or a bit hesitant due to the points system coming in. There was a particularly experienced local coach who was almost over the line but unfortunately bucked at the last minute. Very hard to get a coach to a club with limited junior resources therefore minimizing the amount of low-point players you have!
