Just came home from a stupid function that caused me to miss the game so I've just had my meal come up after watching that emotionless piece of patheticness we dished up in that game.

Well Chris Judd joked to his ex-teammates that his shoulders are stuffed from carrying them around... well when he's a cripple at the age of 30 it'll be because he's carrying us around.

Why do we not have the ability to play with emotion (except against pies and dons)? The first minute of that game you could tell we just had no spirit, no caring whether we lost... it was as though they thought it'd be a mere formality that we'd lose and the stench of it permeated through each player except our captain.

Stevens, Russel, Fisher, Carazzo and Scotland all played like girls... don't care how many possessions they racked up... but FFS lay a tackle, stick with your men... DO SOMETHING to show some fighting spirit!!!!

Betts is our best tackler, when we were getting nothing forward in the 3rd... why didn't we throw him on ball just to lay some tackles?

Fevola, you may not be physically showing any signs of your sook sook attitude.. but deep down inside you're sooking about something!

I don't blame our defense tonight as they did well under the circumstances. Admiral game from Thornton returning from injury, Armfield was pleasing but was lacking the spark I'd thought he'd bring, Browne another step in learning, Bower what a shame but you'll have time to watch a few games and learn a few things.

Murphy and Gibbs are at the stage now where they must begin to show a bit more pizazz on a consistant basis.

One more thing, where are the two loose men who are free when you have 3 men playing on Fev?

my opinion on the game.....geelong are ____ing good. Remember were getting better, but nowhere near them. We couldnt beat adelaide....barely a top 4 team let along the superstars of geelong after a wakeup call

Forgive me for being laconic, but our club doesn't believe in winning a flag until 2010.
Totally ____ed up. Ratt's started so well with the Carlton spirit, which now apparently means winning every 2nd game until next year.

Fevola looked very dangerous on Scarlett early on. He was beating him very well on the lead, and had an opportunity to kick 3 in the first quarter. Is it any coincidence that he wasn't in the action when our very own midfield were barely winning any contests after the 2nd half on the 2nd quarter?

Why the hell are you blaming Fevola? He didn't physically show any signs of being a sook, yet deep down he is? How the hell does that contribute to anything when assessing his performance vs Geelong?

Agree 100%.

For starters Scarlett barely got a possession which is very unusual for him and I suspect had we been able to keep generating the same supply we had in the first half then fev would of kicked 6 or 7 goals.

Anyone that thinks Fevola did not do well last nite simply does not understand football

Firstly if betts is our best tackler then were screwed for a very long time .
Ab is our best tackler than maybe gibbs(when hes on the ball) then betts, and wouldnt mind puttin fev up for hes chasing and tackling efforts this yr ....

If the ball doesnt go into your 50 .. how can you blame fev ... did it ever occur to you he could of been sooking about the fact the ball hasnt been in the 50 for the whole 2nd and 3 rd quarters???

Need more pizazz from a 2nd and a 3rd yr players ? ok murphs had a shocker , Name me on superstar of the game who has never ever ever ever had a bad game.... Gibbsy cannot blame a 2nd year player and ask of more pizazz from him , yes they are both number 1 picks , but at the end of the day there going to take the same time to develop as any other player would.

armfield was one of our best players last night
he battled hard
ran and carried
and tried to create runs for the team
we were outplayed by a better side
but it didnt help with our 'girly' midfielders all being outside players
we missed jamison and waite in defence
thorton seemed to panic whenever the ball came near him
which is disapointing

it was hard to rate fevola's game last night since the ball hardly got down our ____ing forward line in the last half!!
