I guarantee you that if Viney, Petracca or Oliver (our first choice inside mids) were putting up their current numbers for a club you don't keep a super close eye on you would be shitting on Stephenson and praying for the other three.

I'm not saying you are wrong for criticising the above three for the flaws in their game. I'm suggesting that the rose-tinted goggles through which you view other clubs' players are inconsistent with your forensic analysis of MFC players.

How about the world's most average footballer Jordan? Would I prefer Jayden playing the mid HFF role Viney and Sparrow play? **** oath.

Nothing to do with who's the better player. Its a dumb way to look at things. This isn't a video game where overall ratings are all that matters.

Yep, we need a mid who's happy to get 20 as long as they kick beautifully for the day.

Stephenson can play in different roles as well where as except for Petracca our midfield players struggle to adapt to playing in any other position

In my experience your actions not what you do for a living determines if your a dickhead or not and it would appear his repeated actions most certainly qualify him as one. Probably why his previous employer ****ed him off.

20 year old apprentice plumber from Preston no big deal if he has a bet on The AFL and enjoys his weekend, AFL footballer betting on AFL knowing the rules regarding it, then telling people about it and jeopardising his and his clubs immediate future = dickhead.
Combine that with his other brain dead actions that resulted in his employer giving him the ass and the evidence speaks for its self.

To be fair this type of stuff would be affected by COVID, I wouldn't expect any announcements before end of the season TBH
