I’ve heard estimates that one dose of Phizer/Moderna is ~80% effective.

I’ve decided that if I can’t get into Victoria for Christmas but can get into NSW and the international borders are open (which is incredibly likely) I’m going to Hawaii. I’m not spending another orphan Christmas on my own stuck at home.

When I got mine the nurses said it can take a few weeks for the immunisation to build.

Very well could be mate. Just went and looked and they measured the time period from two weeks after dose one, till 6 days after dose two.

When we get to 70% one dose or 70% two doses? I don’t expect significant restriction easily until we are approaching 80% fully vaccinated.

Should go back to normal as soon as supply far outstrips demand.

NSW are going for 70% 2 dose of over 16's. That's only 56% of the country. Has to be 70-80% of the entire population which is still a fair way away, especially because Delta affects young people more than normal covid.

MFC are apparently making up badges with members names on them to distribute to people at the game in WA so we kind of get to go ‘in spirit’.

I hope if someone gets my badge they really enter into the spirit by having a pie, multiple beers, falling down some stairs somewhere and starting up a fight of some kind

I don't know the messaging is rather confusing

It sounds like at least 70% at 1 dose and 60% at 2 doses from what I have read but don't quote me on that

Interesting part with Pert saying that merch sales have gone through the roof especially in WA. Suppliers struggling to keep up with the demand over there. Sounds like we'll have a tonne of bandwagoners at the game.

I've got 3 memberships with GF guarantee. So I'm assuming that will be 3 tickets you can purchase

Price I dunno. I guess it depends on face value of the tix. I want to make a bit of cash out of it but I'm not going to go full money hungry grub either.

If I sold them on ebay or something I would shaft the campaigners but I'm happy to be reasonable to a fellow Dees supporter on here to an extent
