People talked preseason about stopping the floggings this year. Biggest loss has been 45 points.
St Kilda in line for their second of the year. They're pretty much 2015 us.

Apologies @bvince23 - I'm just a passionate Hawker who was fired up over your tangle with Smith. Heat of the moment. All good

Twitter justice made him change his tune. What a pussy, can't even stand behind his statement.

I reckon we've got at least one flogging coming our way this year. What will be encouraging though is if that one doesn't develop into three, four, five as the year goes on.
West coast in Perth imo

And West Coast away. Those two are definitely Blackwatch Plaid on the color-coded threat alert chart.
Can I get a full outline of this alert chart?

I knew it was a weak tweet from Joe when he didn't tag him in it. I was going to reply to it but someone had beaten me to it. Not a nice thing to say from the bloke who's team "allowed" Bryant to pump 60 on them in his last outing.

Good on Jordan Bannister for manning up and accepting that he made a mistake with the free kick
Really takes the wind out of it for me and I go fair enough mistakes happen, sick of hearing the other ones say 'technically it was there'

Jeffy has been shit the last two weeks after being very good the couple of weeks before that. Coincides very neatly with his new contract being signed. Hope he pulls his finger out and has a go this week.
He squibbed one of the worst I've seen on the weekend!

He kicked a point didn't he? Reckon if it was a goal we wouldn't have the admission of error.

Yeah he kicked the point but Bannister is an ex AFL player so reckon he just took it on the chin because he doesnt feel the need to be void of criticism like the other blokes

Darren Goldspink wouldn't have cared. Real tough umpire and a very much hated one

I actually think its just that he's a lot more well known that his tweet was spotted. Plus he's just that type of guy, I know him well, absolute legend.

I place more blame at the player taking the dive than the poor ump that has to make a call on it in the split second it happened. That one was a bad one though.

In fact, there were hawks players taking dives all over the ground I noticed. Smith threw his head back a few times after a fly landed on his nose. Gone are the days of tough hawks footy. Lots of namby pamby cats in their side at the minute. Gunston took a massive dive if I recall too.

Not just the hawks though but it has been creeping into the game for years. I watch soccer too (aleague, epl, championship and now a shite load more on beIN) and im comfortable with asserting that on average there are now more dives in your average game of footy than I seen in an average game of those soccer leagues I mentioned. Anytime someone footy related mentions something like 'oh soccer is full of diving' or the like, tell them they're full of shite cos it happens just as much if not more in footy. There might be more blatant ones in soccer, but all the throwing back of the head, and buckling at the knees and bending yourself in half when tackled all counts as diving/play acting. Used to happen every few rounds, then every few games, now it's every few minutes.
