If he plays D-League he'll have more scouts watching him, but they get paid like $40,000 a year and he's not guaranteed to be picked up. If he wants cash he may as well come back to Australia or Europe.
What would the Aussie wage be?

I probably wouldn't pick the Browns....
Yeah only joking. I know they're shit.

Criteria I've come up with to narrow it down:

Not one of the big cities (NY, LA)

Not a recent Super Bowl winner (none in last decade)

Real grass home playing field

Fans least likely to dress up at games, face paint, wigs etc.

Been where they are now and what they're called now for at least 30 years. Eg not a nomadic franchise

So you’re going to support the soap opera that is the Steelers

I remember him..... as Woodbridge said, you never know how much people are suffering.

Shows the pressures young stars have to deal with.

Winx wins 4 Cox Plates in a row..... speechless. This is the race that traditionally horse trainers want to win.

Sensational

In before the Crows buy them...

I think Boti Nagy nails it - hopefully whoever owns the club (and that includes if the Crows acquire them), will actually invest in the club rather than try to run the club on the cheap so they can be seen as a white knight for a WNBL team in SA.

The Lightning, with it's heritage, deserves to be treated with some sense of dignity, something the current ownership (and some previous owners) have not done.

Alrighty fellas, they moved the Kids Australian Open to April for 2019. I am now very tempted to try to pull this off given that conceivably little AC and me could come in for the Thursday night game at the Oval versus Geelong.

My question is this--how long is flight to Sydney? Are there daily flights out?

Golf tournament is that weekend so Thursday nighter is perfect.

The flight is roughly 1.5 - 2.0 hours long, depending on the winds. As for flights - you have a choice of about 20 a day across the 4 airlines.
