George Grljusich, that doyen of broadcasting rationality and moderation, has allegedly tipped an Eagles / Brisbane grand final and that the Eagles will finish top in the home and away.

A tad rash based on one game wouldn't you say?

Somebody take him out the back please.

George making rash statements? Never:rolleyes:

It will be interesting to see the predictions of the so called experts at the start of this season.

It isn't beyond the realms of possibility for the Eagles to finish top of the ladder in the home and away season. If we win all of our home games and our games in rounds 1, 5, 7 against the Bulldogs Carlton and Melbourne. we would theoretically only have to win 3 more games to be sitting at the top of the ladder. This year we have Collingwood and Brisbane at their home grounds which should hold no fear for us.

I personally doubt that we will it this year but if our KPPs can get through the year in good form we might give 2005 a scare.

If I was listening to George, I'd take myself out the back, and give myself a damn good thrashing (so to speak)

My info is second hand.

thats suprising. george i feel always heavily favours the dockers...always sticking up for them and always bring up how the we had a state side and should have won more 3-4 premierships.

i think we'll no by round 7 if were going to give it a good shake. we have a very sticky first few weeks.

2 weeks ago he was on 6PR saying that the eagles season will be linked to the success of Gardnier.

he either believes that gardiner will have a blinder of a season or he has already done a back flip on this one.

George should make up his mind once and for all whether he loves the Eagles or hates them

George said that Cox should probably be the primary Ruck focus based on his poerformance last week.

See how he goes when he comes up against White, Primus or Keating or Sandilands.

I actually agree with that.

George is an absolute joke- if you want a giggle, read his rants on footgoss over the course of last season, and look how dramatically his opinion changes from week to week- if we had a good win, we're the dominant, most exciting team in the comp with more raw talent than anyone and an excellent premiership chance, if we had a loss, we're a superannuated pile of ancients who will struggle to field a team let alone win games.

I think that King George had a few too many wines, lol
If George thinks this, thats great. It needs to happen itself and not get people raving like the messiah has spoken and spoken correctly, George ain't the messiah, he's a very colourful commentator
