It's funny, that used to be the knock on Eade - that he wasn't good at developing the young players now, strangely, he's really good at it.

Yes i was thinking the same thing...

But since the half way mark of this season...whether by design or circumstance...

Eade has brought in some good, exciting young players for the doggies..full credit to him...

Shame that Smorgon flicked him...thought he was still the coach for the doggies...and still had plenty to offer them...

I see your point, but both coaches have different aspirations.
While Craig would be comfortable with an assistant's role, Eade clearly has his eyes set on a senior position.

We would be better off opening the check book for Dimma to make sure he has the best assistants he can surround himself with rather than throwing all the $$ at one bloke who may not be happy as just an assistant.
