Get Paul Hudson??

With Paul Hudson having been moved on from the Lions, should Carlton try to get him on board in a development role? I'm yet to be sold on Teague and Skinny in this role, and the noise from Hudson's Gippsland Power days was that he's really good with developing the young guys.

Agree about Teague and Skinny but not sure if Hudson is the man!

There wouldn't be too many better proponents of good kicking. One of the best shots for goal I've ever seen - better than his dad.

But what else does he bring? FWIW, I think Teague & Skinny have done a pretty good job with both the VFL side, and the talent development.

Their biggest problem is their poor depth in VFL-listed players, which is not their fault. Losing Crow and Digby just underlined it. The 12:10 rule makes it pretty hard without that type of player in your VFL club.

Hickmont has done nothing in his years at the Shepp Bears and the Bendigo Bombers.
Skinny and Teague deserve 1 more year.

What about Matthew Hogg or Dean Rice? Both very very tough players and Rice was a star had 3 knee recos and still played on and did well as well.

Couldn't handle Hudson, bastard kicked too many bags against us. As did that Peter Curran bloke. Long memories us tragics. He was certainly as good a kick for goal as you'd ever see. McKennaesque.

Stick with who we've got. We can't keep chopping and changing our coaching staff. Surely the players would prefer working with Lappin and Teague, who they have been working with all year.

Paul Hudson did excellent work at Gippsland, but I think the more pressing concern is a full-time ruck coach.
