Playing footy on the MCG surface after the game is back!

FANS will be allowed onto the MCG arena after this Sunday’s game against Gold Coast, as a way of thanking you for your support this year.

The match is Melbourne's final game at the MCG for the year, starting at 2.10pm.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a footy and enjoy the return of one of footy’s great traditions - for one day only.

I'll be the one sprinting towards the centre square on the second siren, slipping when I make it and garotting myself on the roped bollard.

Then I'll take glee in weaving in and out the red coats like Adrian Battiston in his prime as they slowly apply the forward press from the city end to the Punt Rd end.
