Wow that was brutal.
Lindsay Gilbee was interviwed by Billy Brownless (a meeting of the minds shall we say) on the Rush Hour today and went something like this;
• He has got engaged and will get married Dec
• Will have 110 guests, but only 8 or 9 players are going.
• Got into trouble in Coldstream as a young fella blowing up letter boxes, tap dragging and roof rocking, just because the were bored.
• First car was his Dad's Toyota Carolla which is now his mates’ paddock bomb on a sprout farm.
• Doesn’t read books.
• World’s greatest invention is the "TV remote and Foxtel".
• Favourite TV show as a kid was Tour Of Duty.
• First “pash” was with Nicole at the Coldstream disco.
• Got kicked out of class for throwing a tub of butter into a classroom and got suspended.
• Finished with a joke by Bill. How do you make Lady GaGa cry?..................Poker face.

Yes it is refreshing to hear some funny things come out of the mouths of footballers instead of the time honoured quotes they are forced to trot out. Hearing Gilbo speak I reckon he has a roll in the footy media in the future.

We've all gotten into trouble in the past, and you can't not help but love Gilbee.

Every second person reckon he/she's a cousin of his of some sort. (had 5, I kid you not, 5 people say that to me)

I loved Tour of duty too so he's a winner on all bases.

Let's hope he gets back to his awesome best.
