Google has started a free webmail service that's gonna fast become more popular than hotmail and yahoo. All current signs are looking good. If you don't know anything about it. www.gmail.com 1 GB of space!!!!!!

Currently you can only get an account by invitation, anyone got one yet? My brother bought one for 5 bucks on ebay just so he could get a good username.

I got mine for FREE via invite.

The interface is streets ahead of Hotmail. Loads so much faster. Much easier to navigate. Plus a GIG of storage.

Oh yeah.

(Even though I never use web-based e-mail. Greed is good.)

Yeah, I got one by invite. Gotta love it. This will be useful when I go travelling next. Digital pix and digital video downloaded and stored straight onto my webmail.
Didn't bother with a common user name, I have my own email addy that I like and that no-one else would ever use.

I got mine from another forum that I lurk at pretty much every day. A guy was handing them out left right and centre so I took one. I think your best bet is just to try and buy one on Ebay like several other people appear to be doing.

Hotmail sent my invite to my "Junk Folder"....dodgy bastards.
