Hopefully Port win so you guys need to travel to Perth, you won't win over there, you would have a chance if you went to Adelaide. :)
Both Collingwood and Sydney would be confident of their chances of beating an injury depleted West Coast at Subiaco as both teams have played very well against them in recent times.

Collingwood's last four results against West Coast. Judd had two legs and was probably BOG in both of their wins as well...

2005: W Collingwood defeated West Coast by 23 points (MCG)
2006: L West Coast defeated Collingwood by 14 points (Subiaco Oval)
2006: W Collingwood defeated West Coast by 37 points (Telstra Dome)
2007: L West Coast defeated Collingwood by 12 points (Subiaco Oval)

Provided we get over the line tonight, I'd be quietly confident going to Perth with their current midfield injuries, HOWEVER, we haven't beaten a team by more than 5 goals this year, and playing interstate automatically puts you 5 goals behind despite ou 2007 interstate record.

1 things for sure, WCE can't win the flag this year. Teams with lots of injuries to key personel just don't win the cup. WCE have also been 'up'
for 3 years and surely the wheel has turned.

Actually, I'm getting more & more confident as I post this, that it would
be nice to knock off both 2005 & 2006 premiers 2 weeks in a row to keep the dream alive, them come up against teams like Geelong or Kangas who we have good recent records against.

It just might be the dream run to Glory

Wouldn't be bad for the player's confidence either!

I feel Collingwood are always a chance when their confidence is up.

After reading all that, we might just lose tonight! You guys cannot be that confident, you're talking as if we've already won. Stop it! I dont like it lol

if we win tonight i think its an 80% chance against eagles sonsidering there advantage in the comp is there midfield and i saw some stats on tv about them having a bad backline meaning pies should dominate them.

Judging by the betting on this game, if we win and go to Perth next week we'll still start rank outsiders.

I know that I haven't been thinking that way because my view is that either Collingwood or Sydney would be confident against an injury depleted West Coast next week because both sides play well against them in recent times. I don't know which of the two teams it will be though, but I certainly hope it's Collingwood.

The match tonight against the Swans is going to be tough because unlike last time, it's a sudden death final this time, and they won't want to lose three times in one season to Collingwood. Hopefully Collingwood will be able to find a bit extra from two weeks ago as well.
