who should i choose some like bowden and keep about the same money or get smith and free up 200+ but who no's how good he'll go now

i am gonna go for smith and then upgrade al davey to johnson. still leaves me with $100,000 next week to upgrade murphy/rischitelli to judd.
backline is ok with: Gilbee, Wirrpanda, Mcleod, Raines, Boyle(great game today), johnson(freo) and now smith. My rucks are guns and my forward line next week will be: brown, hall, pav, G Ablett, Brad Johnson, Embley and Kosi

I wouldnt suggest getting rid of Goddard for Smith, get Chad Cornes! The guy is one of the top players in dream team.

yeah, but cornes is nearly 400,000. fell $200 short of him. being a roos supporter, laidley loves smith and i was able to trade out rischi for judd. have another $145,000 to upgrade al davey to johnson or ROK next week. will make a gun forward line of: brown, hall, g ablett, pav, embley, johnson/rok and kosi

I think Goddard for Smith is a good trade. You get so much money out of it, you can upgrade all parts of your team in coming weeks. Im pretty much sold on it. Ill be trading Al Davey to Riewoldt or Lucas giving me a forwardline of:

BJ, Chapman, Pavlich, Brown, Riewoldt, Franklin, Edwards

heard from a reliable source today that it is nearly 100% confirmed that goddard has ruptured his acl so its definitely time to swap him out and ignore him for pretty much all of next year as well. smith looks like the option every one has gone for. being a roos supporter and knowing laidley loves smith and has massive wraps on him. smith should play out all of the season and with well out for 4-6, should play more in the mids/ a sweeping role across half back. looks set to score about 70ish average. the downgrade spares up about 230-240k and will allow an upgrade of pretty much any cash cow to a gun. i traded out rischi to judd and next week al davey to jonno

My forwards are:

Ablett 1 and 2, Brown, Lynch, Franklin, Didak and Thomas.

On the bench is Hughes and M Brown which I will use to upgrade Ablett 2 later in the year.

My forwards have been a little inconsistent but I am confident they will come good. I have been going to trade Lynch virtually from the start of the year but he has always been the lowest priority and now that it looks like I am stuck with him he is starting to do okay for me. Hopefully he has a big rest of the year.

I had Goddard and brought in H Shaw this week to cover. The 40k drop in price this week hurt though making the trade.

I was running a kinda mock trade to see exactly how much money I would have after the next week. Basically I will trade Goddard for Jesse Smith and start him, then upgrade Davey to Riewoldt. Next week I can then trade Edwards for Lucas and Ill still have $75000 left. Can then use that to upgrade either Sinclar to C Cornes or Kerr to Cross.

Forward line would be:

BJ, Chapman, Pavlich, Brown, Lucas, Riewoldt, Franklin

Backline:

C Cornes, H Shaw, Gilbee, Birchall, Adcock, Kosi, Smith

Should be in pretty good shape then for the rest of the year. Goddard going down may actually be a blessing in disguise (as much as it sucks for him to do his ACL in reality). As long as Smith performs anyway...

i had goddard...almost cost me my game this week only won by 22 points.... i traded him about 5 mins ago and andrew macleod seemed the best option as he is pretty much the exact same price range....also being in scintilating form mcleod was an obvious choice
