A super fit Marcus Drum?

What about a developing Weston?

Mackie is a good player, but isn't that kind of player.

A Selwood or Chapman with an extra 6" is maybe the closest thing we have got - unless you count Kelly, who only needs another 3"!

We have players with the grunt, if not quite the height, and players with the height and class, but just not the grunt.

He is a fantastic player.

Question - if we had Goddard, where would you play him?

For mine I would put him as ruck rover.

Hawkins has the skill and the body, but he lacks the ticker to be a Goddard type player.

I really think that Chris Scott will be good for Hawkins. His spot won't be guaranteed like it was with Bomba, so he will need to work hard. I'm predicting 2011 to be Hawkins year with 50+ goals.

Very few players in history with the physical attributes of Goddard, never mind in the competition at the moment or indeed on our list.

I wouldn't say his spot was ever guaranteed by Bomber. But I do agree that having a new face like Scott, who will make the tough calls from the get go, might help Hawkins pull his finger out and get motivated.
