2nds Gold Coast Reserves: Title Defense 2024

Hopefully playing forward gave Read some tips on what he needs to do to get on top of his opponents. I think he will make a good defender.

Same with Graham; I’m sure he learned plenty. These kids are young. Let them develop and play and learn.

We’ve burned through our top picks in the past and run them into the ground by forcing the weight of the club on their shoulders.

How much time did Read play in forwards? Thought he would have been rucking since Moyle was out.

Looks like Goober gave us a bath in the ruck. IMG_6187.JPG

I think thats prob standard against most opposition players. Crossley usually dominates the ruck for a man his size.

Looks like the only GC players to get coaches votes was Budarick and Brock

I’ll be interested to see what changes you think we should make for next week.
You’ve been a great judge this year.
I know nothing :)

What I think and what Dimma does is not necessarily the same.

One change will be Flanders replacing most probably Davies.

Rosas was listed as 1 week on injury list. If he is ready, he is replacing probably Rogers.

That's it for me.

There could be more changes, Day > Walter, Fiorini > Johnston.

Will be interesting to see what the team's plan for Will Graham is. 26 disposals at 69% DE, 8 tackles, 7 clearances. Should the club reward form with another senior game or is it better for his development to stay in the 2's?

Personally I’d have him in the team, he’s a much better skilled, younger version of Holman ( tough as nails)

Reminds me of James Rowbottom at the Swans
