I strangely feel good about losing tonight...weird. It would've really pissed me off people going o thats all saints can win, the players would've felt it all too easy ... hopefully this instills some mongrel in the saints.

I don't think we held back, you just can't let a team as good as the Doggies get away to the kind of start they had tonight.
That and fading away at the end was the difference, not that we held anything back.

At the end of the day, if we had to lose any Grand Final to any team, I wouldn't mind as much if it's against the Dogs. Doggie fans have done the hard yards as much as we have.

Looking forward to seeing this magnanimous show of grace again later in the year when the Blue Boys get a surprise win over the Aints - just missed getting a win last year and it's most definitely overdue!
Really looking forward to watching the Dogs matches this year and tuning into the "BIG (bad) BAZZA SHOW" - great viewing! Let's just hope he doesn't wipe out the rest of the team with friendly fire before year's end.
