Sorry to intrude on your board Dees fans, but I wanted to say how much I still enjoy watching Choppy play even if it is for another side.

He was criticised in one column here in Adelaide last week for his game against the Crows (which I didn't think was too bad btw) but I thought his game against the Swans was first-rate.

Great to see Daniher using him up the field a bit. Mark Williams had him boxed in as a FP only, despite Byron's great early career as a defender. It ultimately led to him becoming a lazier player I think.

I honestly hope he continues to deliver for you as he has copped so much #rap in the last 12-18 months. Some self-inflicted and deserved but alot of it pretty unjustified.

Go Choppy!

Byron was excellent. I don't how he gets so much space on particular occasions. He also did some hard stuff and proved a lot of people he still has plenty to give to the Demons.

He's going to be terrific for us I reckon. Hopefully he keeps running directly for the ball and realises that he can still hurt plenty of blokes doing that, then he should largely stay out of trouble. Sadly though, by the look of the weekend he is going to have to be mighty careful in what he does because his reputation has obviously filtered into the ranks of the umpires.

He has trimmed down a fair bit since the NAB Cup, but still has a solid torso on him.

You'll here plenty of ROOS suporters barracking for " CHOPPY " when he goes near the ball on Saturday. I'll be one of them.
None of us were glad to see him leave :(

Byron

Getting Pickett, getting him fit and allowing him to use his muscle was a master stroke that will pay dividends for Neale Daniher throughout this season.

I like the sound of this statement, which was lifted from the hun.

Re: Byron

He does look alot fitter than he did in Pre-Season which is good to see and the team is reeping the dividends of it. Has been in our best 5 in the last 3 games now i think, in our best 2 in the last 2 definetly, arguable BOG in both.
